Renapur Leather Balsam 1 Litre

$115.50

The one litre bucket is the economy size, and it is the one furniture stores, saddle makers and leather retailers keep on the shelf. If you are treating stock rather than a single item, this is the size that makes sense.

Other sizes
  • One bucket treats around 2500 pairs of shoes
  • Cleans, conditions, polishes and helps waterproof in one coat
  • No expiry date
  • Free shipping, Australia wide

What it replaces

Five bottles, or one jar

Most leather care ranges sell you a product per job. Renapur does the lot in a single coat, which is why one jar tends to be the only thing in the cupboard.

The usual way

  • A leather cleaner
  • A conditioner or hide food
  • A restorer or recolourant
  • A polish or wax
  • A waterproofing spray

Five bottles, five steps, five things to store.

With Renapur

  • Cleaning
  • Conditioning
  • Restoring faded colour
  • Polishing
  • Water resistance

One jar. One coat. No buffing.

How to use it

One coat does the lot

  1. Clean 1 Clean Lift the dirt first with Renapur Leather Cleaner Spray. It is pH neutral and fully biodegradable, and clean leather takes the balsam far better.
  2. Condition 2 Condition Work the balsam over the leather sparingly with a sponge. No buffing and no waiting around. Wipe off any excess with a soft cloth.
  3. Protect 3 Protect That same coat conditions, polishes and helps waterproof. Water beads instead of soaking in, which is what stops leather drying and cracking.

Before you start

What it goes on, and what it must not

Balsam is for smooth leather. On suede or nubuck it flattens the nap and the damage is not easily undone, so this is the one thing worth checking first.
